Experiments, community, perfection and the bumpy journey
Hey Reader,
It’s a lesson I keep having to learn over and over again – don’t compare where you are in your journey to where others are in theirs.
Yesterday at physical therapy as I was doing my ankle circles, I saw one woman doing squats and another woman very successfully doing towel scrunches.
I definitely can’t do squats, and when I do towel scrunches, let’s just say that the towel doesn’t actually scrunch.
It’s tough because I don’t know those women, their stories, why they’re in PT or how long they’ve been going. I can only see that small sliver of their journey.
The goal of my podcast is to not only share the victories, but also the challenges along the way. I want to normalize that we’re all on our own path – and it’s often bumpy, imperfect, challenging and wonderful.
