[00:00:00] Rene: Hey everyone. Welcome to Your First Digital Product, a show that helps maxed-out service providers create their first digital product so they can gain an additional income stream, grow their impact without increasing one-on-one work and experience more time freedom. On the show, I talk to business owners who have launched digital products and dig deep into how you can create, launch, and market your first digital product. I’m your host, Rene Morozowich. Let’s go.
[00:00:28] Hey friends. Welcome to Episode 0 of Your First Digital Product. In this episode, we’re going to talk about who this show is for, what to expect from the show and my philosophy around digital products and business and life, because really it’s all the same. This show is for established service providers who are ready to grow or shift, but who don’t want to hire and manage a large team.
[00:00:48] They like what they’re doing, but they desire more time, would love an additional stream of income, and or just want to share more of themselves with the world beyond the one-on-one relationships than most service providers typically have. I help maxed-out service providers create their first digital product so they can gain an additional income stream, grow their impact without increasing one-on-one work and experience more time freedom.
[00:01:11] If that’s you, you’re in the right place. Your First Digital Product will be a weekly show with two kinds of episodes, interviews with business owners like you who have gone down the digital product path. They’ll share their experiences on what worked and didn’t work for them. Solo episodes where we’ll talk about something specific for the journey, a suggested route, a direction you should avoid, or other ideas to consider. On the show, you’ll hear a lot of different experiences and points of view.
[00:01:39] Everyone’s path is different. I encourage you to consider the information you hear, take what works for you, and find your own path. I should also say that I’m not a creator who has sold a bazillion dollars in digital products, and I’m going to share my five step framework on how you can do it too. I’m a real person on my own journey.
[00:01:56] I love everything about digital products. I love that there are service [00:02:00] providers out there who love what they do, who don’t want a large team and who want to create something for themselves. My goal is to learn all the things and report back to you with the most updated, relevant, and useful information.
[00:02:13] Now, a bit about my philosophy. One of my favorite audio books is The Art of Exceptional Living. In chapter two, Jim Rohn talks about cultivating a personal philosophy. His belief is that your personal philosophy is the major determining factor in how your life turns out. My personal philosophy is that life and business is about the journey, not the destination.
[00:02:34] The process I share to brainstorm, validate, create , launch, promote a digital product will reflect my approach to life and business, which is taking the scenic route. Maybe you’ve already noticed all of my references to paths and journeys and destinations. So often when people think of creating a digital product, they think that they need to put everything in their lives on hold for six months and solely focus on creating a course.
[00:02:56] There are so many things wrong with that idea, and we will talk about all of them on the show. You won’t find any go big or go home nonsense here. No one has time to go big without sacrificing in other parts of their lives, like time with their families or other things they love. I’m a proponent of the slow and steady moving with intention towards a goal, but at a pace that’s doable for you.
[00:03:17] So to recap, if you’re an established service provider, who is ready to grow and wants to create, launch, and market a digital product, but who understands that creating your own stuff is HARD and wants support on that journey, and you believe in the concepts of the slow and steady, tiny habits and small wins, then let’s do this. I am so excited that you’re here.
