Imposter syndrome, relationships, the path of least resistance and overcoming the fear of producing

Hey Reader,

When I first started this podcast, I added every episode as a new post on my website. It took some time each week to add all of the pieces (buttons and players and video embeds and show notes), but it worked.

Fast forward to episode 35 and I realized I was boxing myself into a corner.

Not only did it take time each week to add all of the pieces, I had to take extra care to replicate the formatting of each episode and if I wanted to change anything globally, I had to go into each post to modify it. 😑

So, last week I spent a few hours changing the structure of the site to not only make future episodes easier to add but also to be able to change the overall design of the podcast episodes globally.

The reason I share this story with you is:

  • However you do something to begin with is okay. Start where you are.
  • Later, you may want or need to take some time to make it work better for you for the long term. That’s okay too.

It’s a journey. Some of the latest show episodes are about journeys, too. 🙌

P.S. I have a goal to have 25 market research calls by the end of 2023. If you’re creating, launching or marketing a digital product, could we jump on a 15-minute call so I can learn more about you? No sales, no pitches.
